Courts Around Grounds:

At UVA Rec, tennis and pickleball are more than a workout—they’re a way to stay active, build friendships and enjoy healthy competition at every stage of life. Whether you're just starting out or returning to the court, there's a place for you on Grounds.

The Snyder Tennis Center is our primary tennis facility, located on central Grounds with 13 lighted courts available for recreational use and reservable by UVA Rec members. Just off Emmet Street, the Perry-Fishburne Courts, are located behind Contemplative Commons with 4 courts.

Snyder has 28 pickleball courts and Perry Fishburne has 10 courts lined for pickleball.

More Courts Around Grounds

For indoor racquet sports, we offer table tennis, racquetball and squash. Racquetball courts are at both, Slaughter Recreation Center and North Grounds Recreational Center. Table Tennis tables can be found at Slaughter and North Grounds as well as the AFC during the summer. We have squash courts at North Grounds as well as the championship-venue McArthur Squash Center located at the Boar's Head Resort for an additional cost.
